Susan (Geordie to friends) was born in the North East of England and immigrated to Australia in 1971 where she met and married Allen. Allen learned all about antiques in English pubs while visiting the In-laws in Geordie land. They started out as collectors, which after 20 years became an obsession and the dream to have and own an antique shop started to grow roots.

By the time the dream became a reality they had collected enough to fill their shop with a wonderful assortment of fine old wares.

Allen's knowledge of English porcelain and Australian pottery became extensive as he progressed his studies from English pubs to museums, good auction houses and reference books. The dream extended to a location of beauty and tranquillity where you can get lost in the view or just browse around the rooms of antiques and partake in Geordie's home baking just like mother used to make. Geordie (Susan) has kept the menu simple to maintain a high standard. Always freshly made and guaranteed the best on the coast.
